easy to fish rods

I haven't used my new rods but have used the same rods while fishing with Evan Dowdy of High Country Anglers and they fish great. Very easy to mend line and land large trout. Wife likes them also as she usually beats me when we're with Evan.

"and now for something completely different"

Purchased this rod with an idea in my mind of casting a 3.5 fluorocarbon line about 35 to 40 feet with a weightless fly. I fish rivers here in Colorado where Tenkara techniques are a refreshing change for highly pressured tailwaters, but the lack of a reel makes for a lot of big fish lost. So my idea was to get a rod that had enough length, flex profile to load and cast a light line, and that could also possibly do some of the finer rod-work of manipulating flies. So far the rod is doing well at both. Have also used it to cast dries and wow is that a delicate presentation! I encourage you to consider this rod as capable of more than just a euro nymphing rod. Cheers!
